Only days after finishing his sophomore year of high school\, a devastating workplace accident resulted in the amputation of both of Brad's hands. Through hard work and determination\, Brad soon rejoined his high school football team. In his senior year\, Brad led his team defense\, recording 111 tackles and receiving all-state honors all while playing with no hands. Brad's inspirational story of triumph quickly captured national headlines. Now Brad is taking his powerful message of workplace safety to businesses and organizations across the country. \n\n\n\n\nSafety Awards will be presented by the Bureau of Worker's Compensation of Ohio\, Division of Safety and Hygiene.\n\n \n\nGroup Award - to the employer with the lowest incident rate in each group\;\n\n100% Award - to each employer that works the entire calendar year without an injury or illness resulting in a day away from work\;\n\nAchievement Award - to each employer that decreases its incident rate by at least 25% from the previous year\;\n\nSpecial Award - to each employer that accumulates at least 500\,000 hours and at least six months without an injury or illness resulting in a day away from work.\n\n\n\nRuth Kreher Safety Person of the Year and the West Central Ohio Safety Council Community Safety Grant will be awarded.\n\n\n\nWe will also be doing a 50/50 raffle benefitting our 2019 charity - CASA.
