About Us

Once a year, a deep dive and dual curriculum
ALL’s Signature Course is now in its 34th year, and celebrates more than 700 graduates. Each year, 30 participants spend 10 months learning about their community and engaging in leadership development. They graduate with a deeper understanding of their community, and an increased capacity to serve it.

About the course
The Signature Course runs once a year, from September to June. Participants spend one full day each month on themes such as education, economic development and criminal justice. Part of each day is dedicated to training in advanced leadership principles. Classes also develop and execute community service projects.

Participants commit to a mandatory two-day orientation session in September and nine all-day sessions from October to June. Only one excused absence is allowed. Participants who fail to fulfill their attendance obligations will be asked to withdraw from the program. Tuition is $1,400. Partial scholarships are available for candidates from nonprofit organizations. The application fee is $50
