Pemberton is Chief Human Resources Officer at Globoforce\, as well as the best-selling author of A Chance in the World\, his own story about defying seemingly insurmountable odds  \n\novercoming abuse and neglect as an orphan in foster care to become a trail-blazing corporate\n\nexecutive\, enlightened diversity leader\, visionary youth advocate and acclaimed speaker. His\n\nmemoir recounts his triumphant life journey and drive to become a man of resilience\, determination and vision. Now an upcoming major motion picture\, A Chance in the World further amplifies Steve's highly motivational messages: Believe in your dreams\, rise above obstacles\, create opportunities for others\, and most of all\, persevere.\n\nThe Community Enrichment Dinner will also honor three businesses and individuals for promoting\n\ndiversity and inclusion in our community. Nominations may be submitted online at LimaCED.com or through the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce. \n\n\n\nTickets are $60 each\,\n\ntables of 8 are available for $480 \n\n\n\nThe Community Enrichment Dinner is held in conjunction with the Lima Chamber Foundation and helps fund the Walter C. Potts Foundation which supports the development of minority and small businesses in Lima/Allen County. It has also played a pivotal role in providing local non-profit\n\norganizations with financial donations since its inaugural event in 2006. To date\, more than $92\,700 has been donated to promote minority businesses in Lima/Allen County.
