He has led over 1\,000 support group sessions\, empowering under-resourced individuals through life skills coaching and trauma-informed support. \n\n			 \n\n			Mike currently serves as the Coordinator of the Portage County Safety Council where he has facilitated more than 200 safety trainings and produced a 300-episode\, award-winning safety podcast. \n\n			 \n\n			Now\, as a leadership coach and business consultant\, Mike helps organizations strengthen communication\, connection\, and culture. His unique ability to connect people and purpose inspires real transformation and sustainable impact.\n			\n		\n		\n			\n			This is our 3RD monthly meeting for FY26.  This meeting entitles rebate-eligible safety council members to one safety council attendance credit at a monthly meeting. 10 meetings are required for the year.\n			\n		\n	\n\n\n\n	\n		\n			\n			2025?2026 Safety Council Rebate Program Guidelines\n\n			To qualify for the BWC Safety Council Rebate\, employers must:\n\n			  Attend at least 10 in-person safety council meetings\n\n			Between July 1\, 2025 - June 30\, 2026.\n\n			  Earn up to 4 additional credits through the following optional activities:\n\n			\n				\n				Training Credits (Max 2 credits):\n\n				Attend virtual or in-person training\, such as:\n\n				\n					\n					BWC safety training courses (excluding online e-courses or webinars)\n					\n					\n					In-person safety training from external sources (e.g.\, industry associations\, third-party administrators) that is pre-approved by BWC.\n					\n				\n				\n				\n				Onsite Consultation (Max 2 credits):\n\n				Schedule a Comprehensive Onsite Consultation with a BWC Field Safety Services Consultant.  This must include:\n\n				\n					\n					A full hazard assessment\n					\n					\n					A claims review\n\n					(This visit is limited to once every 3 years)\n					\n				\n				\n			\n\n			\n			Additional Program Notes:\n\n			\n				\n				The maximum rebate amount is $5\,000 per policy per year.\n				\n				\n				Employers must:\n\n				\n					\n					Be current on all BWC payments\n					\n					\n					Have no more than 40 cumulative days of lapsed coverage in the past 12 months\n					\n					\n					Report actual payroll on time for the prior policy year\n					\n					\n					Pay any outstanding premiums following reconciliation\n					\n				\n				\n				\n				Exclusions:\n\n				\n					\n					Self-insuring employers and state agencies are not eligible\n					\n					\n					Restrictions apply to professional employer organizations (PEOs) and their clients\n					\n				\n				\n				\n				Attendance rules:\n\n				\n					\n					A representative may only earn credit for one BWC policy number per event\n					\n					\n					Monthly meetings only count toward credit if the employer is enrolled in that specific safety council\n					\n				\n				\n			\n			\n		\n	\n\n\nThis event is open to members of the West Central Ohio Safety Council and the public.\n\nFor additional information\, contact Deb Katzenmeyer at 419.222.6708 or dkatz@limachamber.com.
