Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce our first Charcuterie Board Challenge: Battle of the Boards!
This event will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023, from 5:30 pm-8:00 pm in the Exhibit Hall at the Civic Center. Appetizers and beverages will be included plus a cash bar will be available!
Host Brittney Wienken from 7th Street Deli in Spencerville will present fabulous tips and tricks prior to the challenge!
Our esteemed panel of judges include:
- Brittney Wienken, Owner, 7th Street Deli
- April Spencer, Owner, Spencer's Sugar Shop
- Ryan Briley, Fresh Manager, Sam's Club Lima
- Pete Williams, Owner, Old Barn Restaurant and Bar
- Professional - for a team that represents retail, commercial and/or food establishments;
- Enthusiast - for a team of individuals that do not represent retail, commercial and/or food establishments.
Does your business think outside the box and want to participate, but not design a board consisting of food?? We are totally open to you designing your board with your business products. Be as creative as you like and we'll be excited to see the ideas you bring to the table!
Winners will be announced at the event and awards will be given based on a weighted point system. The highest-scoring board will receive the "Best of the Boards" award. Additional awards will be given out in the various categories.
Registration is $30 per person or $100 per team of 4 for Chamber members.
For future Chamber members, registration is $40 per person or $150 per team of 4.
Registration deadline is Wednesday, October 4, 2023.
