Join us on June 9th for an important safety presentation focused on the basics of AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use and CPR awareness. This high-level overview will help attendees better understand how quick action during a cardiac emergency can save lives in the workplace and community.
Brian Barhorst from the Lima YMCA will provide practical insight into recognizing cardiac emergencies, the role of CPR, and how AEDs are used to improve survival outcomes while waiting for emergency responders.
Learning Objective:
Participants will gain a foundational understanding of CPR and AED response procedures, including recognizing signs of sudden cardiac arrest and understanding the importance of rapid emergency intervention.
