Community Stakeholders,
 

Activate Allen County and its many community partners have worked and collaborated over the past nearly 15 years in the hopes of establishing a healthier community by bringing groups together and focusing on the needs of the community in terms of health and wellness. We want to celebrate these milestones and share our excitement of making Allen County’s future an even brighter one!

As you may be aware, every 3 years, Allen County conducts both a health needs assessment and then a corresponding health improvement plan, known as the CHIP. 2026 is one of those milestone years that marks the end of one such cycle and the start of a new one. It is in this spirit of closing one chapter and opening the next, that we are hosting this breakfast event.

 

We are inviting you, along with many other Allen County government officials, community decision makers and local business professionals, to attend our 2026 Community Health Stakeholders Breakfast on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 7:30-9:30 am at Mercy Health's Graduate Medical Education Building. The address is: 751 W. Market Street and we will be meeting in the auditorium.

The purpose of this event is to bring as many key, county-wide stakeholders together to share an update on our current 2023-2026 Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), get an overview over what is in store for our future CHIP (2026-2029 CHIP) and learn about new community data. A number of community members will be serving as speakers to share successes, community needs and exciting plans to positively shape the health of our community.

 

Breakfast and networking will be available from 7:30am- 8 am, with the program starting at 8 am and concluding by 9:30am. We hope that you will strongly consider attending this breakfast and learning more about our community and the work that is ongoing to improve the overall health of the residents in Allen County. If you are unable to attend, please feel free to send a representative in your place. An online RSVP is asked from all who attend so we can adequately plan our meal and seating.
