Finance Manager
- Assumes responsibility for the proper maintenance, reporting, and accuracy of accounts and funds maintained by the agency; deposits rents and other income; transfers funds for needed program expenditures; regularly reviews bank accounts; maintains relationships with banking institutions; records transactions and ensures accounts are maintained in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
- Oversees and performs fiscal and accounting activities for Housing Authority Section 8 voucher programs, current grants (i.e., Shelter Plus Care grant, etc.), and public housing; conducts accounts payable and receivable processes for all programs; ensures the implementation of proper internal controls for agency accounting functions; monitors program reserve balances; reconciles bank statements for accuracy; prepares accounting reports in accordance with agency policy and procedures; monitors utility consumption and maintains records according to procedures; reviews accounting work performed by staff to ensure accuracy and adherence to proper procedures.

Qualifications: Any combination of training and work experience which indicates possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below. An example of acceptable qualifications for this position:
- Associate’s degree in accounting or related discipline from an accredited college/university, plus five (5) years or more of responsible accounting experience and two (2) or more years supervisory experience, or equivalent.

Manages the agency’s financial and accounting procedures and supervises employees of the Finance Department.
