Seeking a Clinical Social Worker to join Integrative Private Practice
Counseling, Creativity & Compassionate Care provides outpatient mental health treatment that is trauma-informed and neuro-divergent friendly to Women and Queer Folx. We are a small, yet rapidly growing practice who knows the Lima community, cares deeply for the people served here and sees direct results of the work. While patients all over Ohio are served, Lima is at the heart of our service. I am looking for an LSW or LISW to join my growing practice to meet demands for patient care. The right person is someone who feels aligned with clinical excellence and personal integrity and approaches the therapeutic relationship as a vital container of trauma-informed work. The ideal candidate would be self motivated, creative and affirming. Clinician will provide biopsychosocial assessments, individualized treatment planning, individual (potentially group) counseling, crisis response (when needed), and coordination with prescribers and outside agencies.
Compensation & Credentialing:
Compensation will begin at a 55/45 split, with 55% paid to the clinician and 45% retained by the practice. Credentialing expenses will be paid out of pocket and shared between the clinician and the practice through credentialing vendor selected by the practice owner, with the specific cost-sharing terms outlined in the independent contractor agreement at the same 55/45 split. Thirty days after all required credentialing is complete, compensation will increase to a 60/40 split, with 60% paid to the clinician and 40% retained by the practice.
Independent Contractor Requirements & Responsibilities
As an independent contractor, the clinician is responsible for providing their own computer or electronic device necessary to perform clinical and administrative duties, maintaining an active professional liability insurance policy, and providing their own phone (separate from personal number) for professional communication. The clinician is also responsible for maintaining all required professional licenses, certifications, maintaining continuing education and other credentials applicable to their role.
Who We’re Looking For

-
Hold yourself to a high standard of clinical judgement, professionalism and ethical practice
-
Believe in continual learning, growth and refinement of your clinical skills
-
Value working with the whole person—mind, body and spirit
-
Are comfortable thinking beyond strictly traditional therapy models
-
Have an interest in (or experience with) somatic, expressive, creative, relational, parts-based, mindful or other integrative approaches
-
Bring authenticity, warmth, curiosity and creativity into the therapeutic relationship
-
Are able to work independently while also contributing to a supportive practice community
Practice Values
Excellence.
We don't believe in doing the bare minimum. We strive for excellence in our clinical work, our relationships with clients, our professionalism and the experience we create within the practice. Excellence doesn't mean perfection. It means being thoughtful, accountable, curious and continually willing to grow.
Whole-Person Care.
We recognize that people are more than symptoms and diagnoses AND that all people are deeply and intrinsically impacted by the families, communities and systems they have existed within. We work with marginalized people who have been impacted by these oppressive systems. We consider and tend to the unique needs and inherent wisdom that can be found within the interconnectedness of the mind, body, spirit, relationships, and environment.
Creativity.
Therapy doesn't have to look the same for every person, and we value clinicians who can thoughtfully and ethically incorporate non-traditional, experiential and creative approaches, when clinically appropriate and within scope of training.
Counseling, Creativity and Compassionate Care is looking for a clinician who can hold both clinical rigor and human messiness. Someone who is warm without being unstructured, creative without losing clinical grounding, and compassionate while maintaining high standards. Someone that can grow with this small private practice while making a big impact.
If you're looking for a highly structured, traditional clinical environment, this may not be the right fit.
