Sales Representative Northern Ohio Peterbilt
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
A Peterbilt Truck Sales Representative’s primary responsibility is to call on truck end users to specify, quote and sell Peterbilt trucks in their (AOR) assigned area of responsibility. The Sales Representative is also responsible to keep detailed records to document, pertinent information on each of the customers in your AOR. Work with our marketing department to effectively use our in house resources with regards to sales shows and exhibits, participating in factory visits, working with and joining local and state associations and other related account activity.
Reports directly to the Peterbilt Sales Manager.

Good communicator, able to work with customers and internal personnel. Strong sales aptitude, highly motivated, excellent computer skills.
Two - Five years of sales experience preferred.
Have a valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL if necessary.
Excellent computer skills. Related heavy truck experience preferred. Residence in the Youngstown or surrounding area preferred.
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
