We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our recovery-oriented team of professionals to work in a hospital setting to identify patients, including children and adults, with behavioral health needs to provide necessary assessments and linkage to outpatient care in Logan County, Ohio.  The standard workweek is Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule from 11:00 am to 12:00 am. One full-time or two part-time positions can support the work. There are no productivity expectations, with an annual salary up to $55,000. 

Due to the nature of the position, candidates must be able to collaborate effectively with care teams in a variety of medical and healthcare settings, particularly within the Emergency Department.  Interaction with patients in crisis means candidates must demonstrate sensitivity, empathy, objectivity, professionalism, effective customer service skills, and sound clinical judgment. 

Candidates must have a Masters Level LSW or LPC with proven knowledge and skill relative to mental illness, substance use and related dynamics, risk, and diagnostic assessments; therapeutic communication; crisis triage and intervention; de-escalation; treatment modalities; and service delivery systems in behavioral health and related fields.  Must have and maintain valid driver’s license and acceptable driving status.  Must be willing to obtain or already have the following: a NPI number; an Ohio Medicaid number; and CAQH account.
