Founded in 1887, the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce is the community’s leading advocate and champion for business. Its primary objective is to create a climate of growth and success in our community.

The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce provides leadership and business-building initiatives focusing on the critical priorities of the community. Leveraging the support, talent and resources of our members, we are one of the leading organizations helping to improve the economic vitality and Livability for the Greater Lima Region.

As an advocate for businesses and our communities, we are living and breathing “Real American Strength” in our everyday programs, efforts and initiatives. We encourage our local businesses and community members to evaluate how they demonstrate “Real American Strength, Style, Skill, Possibility, Heart and Roots,” in their everyday activities.

As one of the champions for the Greater Lima Region in the Lima/Allen County community, we have partnered with the Allen Economic Development Group and the Visit Greater Lima Convention and Visitors Bureau to develop a unique community marketing tool. The website WeAreRealAmerican.com has been developed to showcase the strength of businesses, livability and infrastructure of the Greater Lima Region.
