About Us

Optimist International is a worldwide volunteer organization made up of more than 2,500 local clubs whose members work each day to make the future brighter by bringing out the best in children, in their communities, and in themselves.

The Lima Noon Optimist Club meets for lunch every Wednesday at noon in the dining room of American Legion Post #96 located at 711 S. Shore Drive. Our club sponsors a number of programs for local youth including Safety City which has helped generations of children live safer lives.

We invite you to come and meet us for lunch. Join the club and learn what it means to be a true Optimist as you serve the children of Allen County. We truly believe that the giving of one’s self in service to others will advance the well-being of humankind, community life, and the world.
