About Us
The West-Central Ohio Birding Community, formerly the Tri-Moraine Audubon Society, is a chapter in good standing of the National Audubon Society and covers eight Ohio counties of Allen, Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Shelby, and Van Wert.
Our mission is to bring birds and people together through experiences, education and conservation. Our goal is to be the leader in west-central Ohio in promoting engagement with and conservation of birds.
Community
We provide a welcoming space where people who like birds can belong and can come together, share and learn in meaningful ways that foster conservation and enjoyment of birds.
Experiences
We provide high quality birding experiences to give our community an opportunity to connect with birds, locally and regionally.
Education
We facilitate high quality, bird-focused environmental education that is accessible to everyone.
Conservation
We promote the responsible use, restoration, and protection of the environment through conservation and sustainable practices for resilient bird habitats.
Connect with us and see how birds bring people together!
